Belly Bump Updates!

So, I've been a little MIA...Little Bit is still kickin it though...I'll share more about her in a bit.
So here are my Belly Bump Updates...I don't think I'll have time to answer all my questions I've been answering in the past weeks, so we will see.

July 13th
38 Weeks
I think this is my favorite of all my week pics...

July 18th
39 Weeks
I'm not a huge fan of either of these pictures or my swollen face :)

Today July 22nd!
One day before D-Day!!
We went for Sunday Brunch with Mike's family at Waterfront Grill, and it was very tasty...I had WAY to many carbs for my blood sugar levels...oh well!

A little about what's going on...we go in this evening to the hospital at 7:00. They will be a cream on my cervix to thin it out (which apparently helps if they have to induce me)...then we wait. Hopefully and prayerfully, I go into labor on my own, but if not, tomorrow morning 6 or 7 I would guess, Dr. Cox will break my water and start the Induce medicine and then sometime tomorrow, we will meet our precious little girl!! I'm so excited!!
Thankfully Mike is feeling better, we went to Urgent Care yesterday morning and he was able to get some antibiotics and cough med...he feels much better!  Praise Jesus and thanks for all the prayers for him too!
I've still been feeling just fine for being about ready to explode. I wake up with Shrek Feet about every morning now. Just about all of me is starting to swell...which I won't complain too much, because I know it will all be worth it.
My last day of work was Friday, which I am so excited about!  I know it's not a break, and I will be working in differnt terms when we come home from the hosptial...but I am very thankful to have a break from that work for a while. For the most part, the kiddos were very sweet and we excited for me to have my baby.
Rick and Mel flew in last night, they will be staying with us for while to help out. Which I am very thankful for. Not sure how long Mike will be able to take off of work, so it will be nice for Mel and my mom to come over and help...and whoever else!
Mom has been over the past two days and a few days in the past couple of weeks to help me clean and get the house all in order...she is a crazy cleaning woman!! And I am so thankful for that. She has cleaned things, I didn't even know you cleaned!! Or how to clean for that matter!
I finally did pack my bag last weekend, just in case. Mike still needs to get his stuff together tonight.
No, we still haven't picked a name yet. We will be choosing one once she gets here...good thing is she has to leave the hospital with a name...so no more procrastinating for Mike!

Alright, well, I'm gonna go get some more things done before we leave for the hospital. Next time I post, I will be a Mommy!!

Little Bit! 37 Weeks!!

So, I kinda slacked last week and didn't get the post up when I wanted. This was me at 37 weeks, but now, I'm almost 38! So there is about a week and a half to two week time frame in this post!

How far along: 37 Weeks, and 5 days to be clear :), Praise Jesus, the end is in sight!
According to What to Expect, we have a WATERMELON, about 19-22 inches and 6.5 pounds
I feel like I have a watermelon in my belly too!!

What I've Learned from What to Expect: She's shedding that filmy stuff off her body, she's probably swallowed some amniotic fluid...yummy! Her lungs continue to mature--which is really one of the big reasons, why I am okay with her staying as long as she needs too!  But secretly, I want her to come whenever!
Total weight gain/loss: 13 pounds.... up two more this week! I think its the swelling in my Shrek Feet!! and my lips...lots of people have asked me about my lips, so funny!  I did take pictures of my Shrek Feet and sent them to a friend a couple days ago...I don't know how to get pictures from my phone to the blog though, so I have nothing to show you now.
Stretch marks: Yep, Mike confirmed that there are some hiding under the belly that I couldn't see.
Sleep: Last week all good, Monday and Tuesday of this week, awful!! I think it had to do with my eating schedule though, I had eaten late both those nights, and probably eaten too much, so it was miserable trying to sleep. Otherwise, sleeping like a baby until the Babe gets here :)
Best moments this week: Having a couple days off work, getting off work early, ultrasounds at the doctors, 4th of July Fireworks and Celebration with friends, Going to see Ted--was really hoping it was going to promote labor, but it didn't. Taking naps, Mike has been more than usual super sweet lately, I think he can tell, I'm starting to feel very blah, did get her baby book semi-put-together still have some work to do.
Getting an official Induce Date!! If she doesn't make her debut sooner, her eviction notice is for
July 23!!!
SO FREAKING EXCITED!!! We were told we'd go in the night of the 22nd if I'm not progressing at all and they would give me something to 'start me up', but if I have progressed some (dilating/effaced) then I will just go in the morning of the 23rd.
Miss Anything: Being able to feel my finger tips, my ankles, Wine---oh when I smell it, I can almost taste it now, I can't wait to have a nice glass of our Italy Wine when we get home!

Movement: Yep, still a little machine
Food cravings: sweet stuff
Anything making you queasy or sick:  Cleaning Mike's Shower (I shower in the guest bathroom, because it is a tub and feels bigger to me, than the standing shower in our master bath). That was the first time, I really felt like throwing up!! It was disgusting!!
Labor Signs: So sad, last time, I had so many 'Labor Signs', it was all a tease I guess! I haven't had anything since last week!  Maybe one BH Contraction...so my thought about her coming soon, is no longer...I really do hope she comes on her own before we induce, but now I'm thinking she will take her sweet time...she knows how awfully hot it is outside!
I may have lost a teninsy bit more of my plug, but it was so little, I'm not really thinking that's what it was.

I still have some feelings that she is starting to 'crown', like when I get up from sitting on the couch. But nothing like last time.

Belly Button in or out: Stretchie!!
Most Ridiculous thing I've Cried about or gotten Upset about: Oh, I got really upset with Mike sometime last week...I don't remember now what it was, nothing that was worth getting upset over, or at least as upset as I got :) but I cried about that for a while. I will randomly just feel like crying for no reason, some songs make me cry, and some tv shows will make me cry. Driving to and from work, I let my mind wander and then I start thinking all the 'what ifs' and I start crying from that.
Gestational Diabetes Update: Managing Well. Getting sick of it though! Sometimes, I just really don't want to care! I'd be an awful Lifetime Diabetic, I think I'd just throw the towel in and say give me a pump. So, for all my friends  who do have diabetes, I am very proud of you for making good choices to manage it.
Pregnancy Symptom: Feeling like a 90 year old woman with Arthritis!! It sucks!

Dr. told me I probably have Carpal Tunnel Syndrome...I started having tingling in my middle fingertip, I assumed it had to do with the daily pricking. But then it continued to get worse and then my index and ring fingertips went tingly, and my middle one went numb...Numb as in I feel I could rip my fingernail off and I wouldn't feel it. So, Dr. Cox recommended I get a wrist brace and it may help, I got one last night, I don't really see how it will make it better, but we will try it out.

Getting more anxious and excited about the big day.
Super tired. Glad work has been slow so I can come home early for naps...it is taking my PTO, but oh well!
My groin still is sore
My belly is so big, that it is getting harder and harder to wipe after the bathroom and I've been bumping it into things a lot lately!! Sticking more out there and it gets in the way!
Nesting and wanting to nest!
Feeling like I have arthritis all over my body.
Back Pain.
Shrek Feet. or Mike would say he's going to start calling me Sasquatch...he really just noticed how swollen they get today.

Wedding rings on or off: Off, glad I didn't get a temporary replacement, because I feel my fingers have swollen even more!  Not to the point of Shrek fingers yet, but I may get there!
Happy or Moody most of the time: TIRED! Able to take more naps, resting, and keeping my feet up. Moody earlier in the week, Happier later in the week.

Looking forward to: The big day, whenever that may be. Picking a name. Packing my bags---nope still haven't done that. I did have friends let me know that newborn clothes will be fine for the diaper bag, so I cleared out all the other size clothes. Enjoying my time with her once she gets here.
And Anything Else: Nothing, I can really think of.

36 Weeks! Full Term!

How far along: 36 Weeks!!!! Full Term!!!

According to What to Expect, we have a WATERMELON, about 19-22 inches and 6.5 pounds
I feel like I have a watermelon in my belly too!!
I have less than 4 weeks now and it could be even less!! She could be here anytime and that is just craziness to me!

What I've Learned from What to Expect: She is just practicing everything while she's hanging out...simulating breathing, sucking her thumb, blinking, moving. She also gaining more fat around her cute little arms and legs which will give her sweet little dimples!!

Total weight gain/loss: 11 pounds.... up two this week! I think its the swelling in my Shrek Feet!!

Stretch marks: Not that I've seen, but I there is a lot of area that I can't really see anymore.

Sleep: Good this week! Yay! Potty Breaks about every two hours.

Best moments this week: Let's see, Getting the afternoon off today (I'll also have tomorrow off and Thursday afternoon off!  Great week for me!) Getting to check things off my list. Going shopping with Grandma---sometimes she just can't help herself. Making the Cookie Dough for Preggers, which I give a 9 outta 10 on normal cookie dough....my mom asked me how the actual cookies were and she just didn't get that I made it just for the cookie dough. Feeling closer and closer to D-Day! Mike and I celebrated 5 years of marriage!

Miss Anything: Wine, I smell it and it is one of my favorite smells!! Breathing normal, being able to walk normal, ya know all those just normal things that I apparently just took for granted before being pregger :)
Movement: Umm, Yes! All the Time!! I love it...if I had to choose a favorite feeling, it would definitely be feeling my little girl move all around in my belly!!
Last night, she was moving all around after I got in bed. And if I had to describe how I feel my belly would look by her movements, it would be a Chipmonks cheeks that are full! She was stretching all sorts of out to the sides and I swear that's what it would have looked like!
Food cravings: Fruits, Dr. Pepper
Anything making you queasy or sick:  Same thing as last week...I always forget about this one, I know there are things that I've seen on TV or heard about that make me feel sick to my stomach. Nothing has actually made me get sick, THANKFULLY...but yes there are random things I see or smell that just give me the willies!

Labor Signs: Oh my good gracious, I really think she could possibly make her debut in the next couple of weeks!! I had friends that 'felt' thier little one would come early or late and I had no idea why they thought that, I can now understand....now it may just be wishful thinking also with the AWESOME 100+ weather we are having from here on out!  But anyway, if you continue to read this part, you may find yourself a little grossed out, these are possible labor signs, so just so you are prepared if you don't want to be shocked :)
Crazy amount of BH contractions, to the point that I made sure to start monitoring them because I thought I was having so many...I am having more, but they are still very inconsistant and thankfully not painful
I'm 99% sure I lost some of my (Get ready) mucus plug!  I didn't even know about this until we went to the class, but there was definiately something gross a few days ago, going to the bathroom and I will spare you the details, but since I didn't know for sure, I decided to google it. I was so shocked at all the disgusting people that lost thiers and thought, "Hey, I'm gonna take a picture of this and post it online!" Now with as much disgust I had, I was also so thankful because mine looked a lot like some of the pictures that were posted.
Last night, I really felt like she was just going to fall right out of me, several times, I was squeezing to make sure she stayed in. There was a little pelvic pain but mostly just pressure...some may say this is 'dropping' or 'lightening'.
I'm more and more tired than ever. Thankfully I've been able to take naps or sleep in on the weekends.
I still have those groin kinda pains, which I had friends say that had that too, so not too worried about it.
My belly is so big, that it is getting harder and harder to wipe after the bathroom.
Nesting and wanting to nest!
Feeling like I have arthritis all over my body.
Back Pain.
Shrek Feet

Belly Button in or out: Stretchie!!

Most Ridiculous thing I've Cried about or gotten Upset about: There was something I cried about earlier, but I don't remember what it was about...something silly though!

Gestational Diabetes Update: Managing Well. I don't think any high numbers this week. I really thought today I would have a high one after lunch, because I had a crousaint sandwich and then a strawberry smoothie. But it was low!
Pregnancy Symptom: Refer to Labor Signs...Round Ligament Pains in the side of my stomach if I move a certain way too fast--usually happens when I try to turn over in bed or getting out of bed. Getting more anxious and excited about the big day.

Wedding rings on or off: Off :( I was going to get a temporary ring, that I could then use as a right hand ring, but think I will just wait, because I feel that I keep swelling more and more, especially with the heat. So I'll just look like the 16 and pregnant, unwed momma...Funny story about the whole 16 and pregnant thing, I don't feel I look like I'm 16, but it seems alot of others do...we had taken our kids on an outing sometime ago to the arcade and Ruth was telling the guy we needed tokens for 5 (5 kids) and then the guy recounted and counted me and said 6?

Happy or Moody most of the time: TIRED! Able to take more naps, resting, and keeping my feet up. But otherwise, pretty happy this week!

Looking forward to: The big day, whenever that may be. Picking a name. Packing my bags---I did get the diaper bag packed, which I know I packed too much...but, it's so hard because, if we do go to due date, Little Bit could be 8-9 pounds---that's probably 0-3 month or 3 month clothes, if we go earlier, she could be less, which she could probably then fit into newborn...so I packed a couple of things for each size. Enjoying my time with her once she gets here.

And Anything Else: Not a whole lot for this...I think I mentioned all that earlier. Trying to stay inside and cool.  Mom and I went to Sam's today and they had an above ground HUGE pool for only $329! I've never had an above ground pool so don't know much about maintenace, but that seems like a fabulous idea to me! I'll have to talk to Mike about it and we have 4th of July coming up and how fun would that be to have people over and get in the pool too!!

We go back to the doctor on Thursday, where I will be tested for Group B Strep--or something along those lines. I don't know if she will measure LB or not again, but she will also check my cervex and all that fun stuff. So exctied!!

35 Weeks!

How far along: 35 Weeks!!!! Yippee!!
K, so I am not thinking clearly and at work, some friends were trying to figure out how far along I was...remember how I thought I was 7 months for SOOOO long...well, I completely missed my 8th month apparently and that's why I thought I was 7 months for so long. I start my NINTH MONTH in 4 days!!!!
I think it's actually funny and kinda sad, that I didn't even realize I was 8 months pregnant for 3.5 weeks. I guess that's what pregnancy brain does of ya!
According to What to Expect, we have a Large Cantaloupe (again), about 19-22 inches and 6 pounds, but, we went to see Dr. Cox on Tuesday and she measured LB at around 5.5 pounds.  Obviously there is room for error with those ultrasounds, so we are right on track still!
What I've Learned from What to Expect: Growth is slowing down, one reason is she is saving up her engergy for her big debut!! Isn't that cool?!  Her skull is soft (thank goodness!) Many of her systems are mature now--Blood Circulation, Immune System. But some are still needing these last weeks including digestion, which they say won't completely mature until after birth.

Total weight gain/loss: 9.5 pounds.... No gain this week

Stretch marks: Not that I've seen, but I there is a lot of area that I can't really see anymore.
Sleep: For the most part is Good! Yay! Potty Breaks about every two hours.

Best moments this week: Oh, geez, going to the doctor, seeing her sweet little feet...little stinker still hides her face, hearing her heart beat, feeling her be a little dancing maching, out boppy came that I ordered from zuilily...which, thankfully I have some self-control, because I love that website, we received more gifts today that were delivered! That was way exciting to come home too! We went to the birthing class over the weekend. Which I am glad we went, because the instructor shared lots of personal stories she went through. A lot of the actual information was things I've read about or something I feel we would've made it though if we didn't know it. But it was very nice to hear 'REAL' stories. She also gave us recomendations based on her personal experince. So that was nice. I really liked getting to tour the maternity unit, it was perfect...everything was all right there.

Miss Anything: Wine again, cookie dough, and cake batter!!  But, thankfully a friend had a recipe pinned for eggless cookie dough! So I checked that out and I think I have all the ingredients!! Yay!

Movement: Umm, Yes! All the Time!! I love it...if I had to choose a favorite feeling, it would definitely be feeling my little girl move all around in my belly!!

Food cravings: Fruits, Cookie Dough

Anything making you queasy or sick: I always forget about this one, I know there are things that I've seen on TV or heard about that make me feel sick to my stomach. Nothing has actually made me get sick, THANKFULLY...but yes there are random things I see or smell that just give me the willies!

Labor Signs: So last week, I mentioned the BH being less...well, they've increased this week. Still really random, but more here and there, none are painful, but some are uncomfortable.

Belly Button in or out: Stretchie!!
Most Ridiculous thing I've Cried about or gotten Upset about: I again, can't remember or think of anything.
Gestational Diabetes Update: Managing Well. Met with dietitian and she was happy with all she saw. Dr. Cox was happy too. I've still had a few high ones here and there, but I am thankful that I have been able to maintain with diet so far.

Pregnancy Symptom: TONS of Back Pain, Wanting to nest and love it!! Peeing ALL the time! Pregnancy Brain, Back Pain, Sore Feet, Feeling more tired, oh did I mention Back Pain. Some Round Ligament Pains in the side of my stomach if I move a certain way too fast--usually happens when I try to turn over in bed or getting out of bed. Getting a little anxious about the big day.
Wedding rings on or off: This is so sad...they are now Off :( I did tear up when I did take them off this weekend. I've been looking at temporary ones and will probably get me one this weekend.

Happy or Moody most of the time: TIRED! Able to take more naps, resting, and keeping my feet up. But otherwise, pretty happy this week!

Looking forward to: The big day, whenever that may be. We still haven't picked a name, so it will be fun to pick one...I really have a feeling though, that Mike is gonna hold out until D-Day. Enjoying my time with her  once she gets here.
And Anything Else: This maybe a TMI section this time, just so you know, haha! I have felt her hiccups in my butt sometimes! It getting harder to wipe when I got to the bathroom because my belly is getting so big. I'm a waddler now. I think it would be my groin...but I feel like I've been riding a horse for days now...has any other momma's felt this...or like when you have worked out or stretched in ages, and then you go all out, the next day you can barely walk feeling. I've thought about packing a hospital bag, and that's as far as I got. But then yesterday, Sarah, Mike's cousin who is expecting Mr. H early July, sent me a list that her friend sent her and it is amazing!! So helpful!!! For the hosptial for me, LB, Mike, and great ideas to make sure I have at home. Thanks Sarah! I've also done a lot of pinning on pinterest for some freezer friendly and crockpot recipes that Mike will be able to 'cook' when we get home. So I plan on doing some major chopping this weekend to get those prepared.

Well I think that's about it for this week. I really can't believe she could be here ANY TIME now!!  I am so excited, but anxious, nervous, happy, and a little scared all at the same time.

And just by the way...I didn't have ANY misspelled words!!! That's amazing for this girl!!

33 Weeks!!

How far along: 33 and a half Weeks!!!! The picture was actually taken at 33 Weeks...I'm just a little slow at getting this post going!

We have a Pineapple, about 19-22 inches and 4.9 pounds.

What I've Learned from What to Expect: Not a lot to report on this week from WTE, but apparently her fingernails are getting long...that is if she didn't take after her mommy and isn't biting them all down.  I have been proud of myself, I've only bitten one or two nails off since I found out I was pregger...don't really know why, but it's just been easier to not bite since I've been pregnant. I wonder if I'll go back to biting once she comes...

Total weight gain/loss: 9 pounds...no gain this week

Stretch marks: Nopers, not yet.
Sleep: Is Good! Yay, Still!

Best moments this week: This is what I get for waiting too long....I forget!  But the ones I remember...Had another shower given by Amber and Amy that was absolutely wonderful! The grandma's got to see Little Bit with Aunt Amanda in a ultrasound. She was still bashful and was hiding her face. We registered at the hospital this week after my doctors appointment.

Miss Anything: Pizza was something week...I normally am not a fan of pizza, which makes Mike sad because he loves it. Well, with the GB, pizza made my numbers high each time, has something to do with the fat content apparently, so I have stayed away from pizza since then. Well, I couldn't decide on what I wanted to eat one night, so I was just going to have leftovers and Mike ordered pizza. It smelled SOOOO Good and that's what I missed.

Movement: Still a little wiggle worm, and in the ultrasound with Dr. Cox, she was wiggle those little cute toes again.

Food cravings: Fruits

Anything making you queasy or sick: There was something I saw on a tv show, but now I don't remember...

Labor Signs: A number of Braxton-Hicks contractions.

Belly Button in or out: Stretchie!!

Most Ridiculous thing I've Cried about or gotten Upset about: I don't really know what I was crying about, but I know I felt my feelings were hurt, but had no explanation...Love those hormones!
Gestational Diabetes Update: Still managing well, I have a few higher than the 120 numbers, but nothing that Dr. Cox is concerned with. I was worried since there were a few and she let me know that the individual high number here and there are nothing she's concerned with, it would be if the number were consistently high. So she was pleased with what she saw and even canceled next weeks appointment, Woo Hoo! There are times that it is difficult in making appropriate food choices, especially eating out. You just don't know all the nutritional value of foods and you think that you would be making a good choice---I went to the Bistro the other night---had artichoke dip-which is supposedly a low carb food, 4 pita triangles-which I counted as one carb (I can have 3), bacon-wrapped scallops--soo yummy, and assuming no carbs, veggies, a piece of bread-another carb, and a few bites of baked fudge, which I counted as one carb...and my number was 150!! Freaked me out. So things like that are a bit difficult, but nothing too awful, thank goodness!

Pregnancy Symptom: TONS of Back Pain, to the point I want to cry at times. Wanting to nest and love it!! Peeing all the time! Pregnancy Brain, Back Pain, Occasional Skrek Feet, Sore Feet, Feeling more tired, oh did I mention Back Pain. Some Ligament Pains in the side of my stomach if I move a certain way too fast--usually happens when I try to turn over in bed or getting out of bed. Getting a little anxious about the big day : / I sometimes forget that women all over the world and for years and years have been giving birth :)

Wedding rings on or off: Doing good again, and fingers aren't too swollen this week.

Happy or Moody most of the time: LABILE! Happy, Sad, Moody, Happy, Tired

Looking forward to: Meeting her...I still want her to come in July, but I am so excited to see her and meet her and just love on her. Working on Baby Book. We have our Birthing Classes next weekend, so that will hopefully be exciting.

32 Weeks!!

How far along: 32 Weeks!!!! Wowzers!!
We have a Honeydew, about 19 inches and 4.5 pounds.
What I've Learned from What to Expect: She is opening her eyes when she's awake. She's developed her immune system!

Total weight gain/loss: She's definitely growing, I gained 2 more pounds this past week, so I up 9 Pounds!

Stretch marks: Thought I saw some last week, but didn't end up seeing them
Sleep: Is Good!  Yay, Still!

Best moments this week: Having lots of belly time!! We went to a friends wedding in OKC and LB got lots of belly lovin!  It was fun!  I don't mind people feeling my belly if I know them and they ask...thankfully, I haven't had anymore weirdos want to touch my belly. Rick and Mel being in town and I honestly think Rick has more of a baby glow than I do!

Miss Anything: Nothing in particular this week.

Movement: All the time!! There are times my belly looks lop-sided because I'm pretty sure she's sticking her little bootie out! She really started grooving in the car to David Crowder Band-After All (Holy), Eli Young Band-Break Your Heart (I think that's what it was called), and Matt Redman-10,000 Reasons. I thought it was really funny when she started moving to the music, I had read some threads that asked about certain songs that their babies reacted to, I don't know how far along they were, but LB wasn't doing that at the time, so I thought, they were just making stuff up about songs their baby 'supposedly' liked, welp, I've been told now... :)

Food cravings: Fruits

Anything making you queasy or sick: Nothing comes to mind...

Labor Signs: A number of Braxton-Hicks contractions.

Belly Button in or out: Stretchie!!

Most Ridiculous thing I've Cried about or gotten Upset about: I really can't think of anytime I cried this week...woot woot! I'll have to ask Mike to make sure though :)

Gestational Diabetes Update: For the most part good, I did have a high number, 133, after the Wedding Brunch...there were several factors that went into that too...the night before, I didn't have my bedtime snack because I was still so stuffed from the reception food, then I didn't get up and have something to eat for breakfast (Brunch was at 10:30), so I'd gone way too long without eating, then at the brunch they had the most amazing food!! I had two different types of breakfast casserole, a biscuit, sausage, and THE GREATEST CINNAMON ROLE I've ever had!!!  I'm hoping I can get that recipe from Kacy when they get back from their honeymoon! So, I knew it would probably be bad, so during the brunch I excused myself and went walking around the neighborhood for about 25-30 minutes and then tested and got 133. I was so scared, I called my Doc the following day and left a message. They called back and said everything was fine, but to keep an eye on it and call if it goes up again.

Pregnancy Symptom: TONS of Back Pain, to the point I want to cry at times.  Wanting to nest and love it!! Peeing all the time! Difficulty Pregnancy Brain--it gets worse and worse!! Really, if it didn't happen less than an hour ago, I won't be able to give you a reliable answer! I forget crap all the time!! Work has cause me some more 'cankles'.I truly feel I have Shrek Feet sometimes--Mike tells me they are far from Shrek Feet, but I think they are and sometimes they hurt. Feeling more tired. I had another Charlie Horse the other morning...I knew it was coming, it had been making it's way for the past week or so, and finally, it came on full throttle. I woke Mike up because I was slightly freaking out with the pain and he so kindly rubbed it out for me, it was sore the rest of the day and the next...I hate those things! I've also had a skin tag on my neck---do those go away, how do you get rid of them?
Wedding rings on or off: Getting really tight, I'm gonna have to get a temporary replacement.

Happy or Moody most of the time: LABILE! Happy, Sad, Moody, Happy, Tired

Looking forward to: My shower this weekend!! Getting to put it all in the nursery. Picking a name.  We also really need to get on the ball and find child care and a pediatrician!! We are super slow parents : /  Working on her Baby Book and getting that put together-I'm really excited about all that I found and the pages I'm creating :) I will share when I have it together. Having tomorrow off!! Yippee!!

31 Weeks!!

How far along: 31 Weeks!!!! Less than 9 Weeks left!! Holy Smokes!!

We still have a Head of Lettuce, about 19 inches and 3.9 pounds.

What I've Learned from What to Expect: She can move her head side to side and her skin is starting to be more opaque (Yay, no more see through baby!) because she's getting more layers of fat. I am having more Braxton Hicks and I am producing colostrum.

Total weight gain/loss: 7 Pounds

Stretch marks: I think I may have seen a new one this morning, but it could also be a bed sheet mark...you know when you lay on something for so long it puts an impression on your skin...I'll have to check it out later :)
Sleep: Is Good!  Still lots of potty breaks and occasional I get through the whole night. Pregnancy Wedge has been very helpful, along with all the rest of the pillows I need. Mike still has to push me out of bed sometimes.

Best moments this week: Lots! Mike and I went on our Babymoon/5 year Anniversary!! It was fabulous!! More on that later. Mike getting to feel her so much this weekend, she loved the car ride and was a Jumping Jelly Bean all the way down there, so Mike got some great Daddy/Daughter time!Seeing my doctor, my Blood Sugar Levels being under what they are suppose to be, doc being happy with the levels, Going to the doctor again and my mom getting to come with me...which I think was the best moment for her. She got to see her on the ultrasound and hear her heartbeat.

Miss Anything: Wine, lots of fruit at one time, not being able to just snack on whatever I want since I'm having to watch the different things I eat.

Movement: All the time!!

Food cravings: Fruits, The Most Amazing Cookies, (to all my Pi Beta girls, I think they are better than Arrow Cookies!!!)...

Anything making you queasy or sick: Nothing comes to mind...

Labor Signs: A number of Braxton-Hicks contractions. My doc said as long as there are no more than 6 in an hour, I'm good...I feel like I have at least 1-2 an hour. They aren't painful, yet...

Belly Button in or out: How about a Stretchie!! Not completely stretched yet, but really close!

Most Ridiculous thing I've Cried about or gotten Upset about: Oh my, I feel it gets worse and worse each week...I feel so bad for Mike, he is such a trooper, I love him so much for be so supportive and understanding. Today, I cried when I heard "I will Always Love You" on the American Idol show (which I don't watch and I just so happened to flip though, I love Whitney Houston!) This weekend (on our Babymoon!) I got upset with Mike and cried because he wanted to take a shower before we went to breakfast...yes, a shower, yes, I'm crazy, yes, Mike still loves me :) Last week, I would just cry in the shower for no reason at all...boohoo! It's really bad!

Gestational Diabetes Update: I have to prick my finger four times a day and it is cumbersome to make sure I test 2 hours after I eat. I have slight freak out moments thinking I've missed it. I also have to make sure I eat around 10:30 at night because I'm not suppose to go longer than 9-10 hours without eating. Which sometimes makes it difficult to get to sleep. So anywho, my numbers have been good, Dr. Cox was very pleased with them. When she checked Little Bit's growth, she measured her at 4 pounds and me about 4 days ahead of original due date. She said that 4 pounds was within the acceptable range, but a little on the bigger side. She's in the 68th percentile...which, I don't completely understand yet, but I know I will. So, all in all, I was hoping that Dr. Cox would say I didn't have to prick 4 times a day still, but she said, even though it good now, it gets worse the further along I go, so she wants me to continue to the 4 times. I do like that she is being through. I am keeping track of what I eat, times, proportions, and then my numbers. I get nervous sometimes because I'm not quite sure how my body will react to certain things. I did find out early on, that pizza is a no go for me, and after talking with the dietitian, she said pizza seems to be a problem for a lot of people with GB or Diabetes, because of the fat content. Even though, I'm considered High Risk now, Dr. Cox said that if my numbers stay down, and LB doesn't get too big, then I will be able to deliver as a 'normal' delivery. So, so far, so good.

Pregnancy Symptom: TONS of Back Pain, to the point I want to cry at times. My nails are growing like crazy!! Wanting to nest and love it!! Peeing all the time! Difficulty breathing sometimes. Pregnancy Brain--just like my crying episodes, it gets worse and worse!! Really, if it didn't happen less than an hour ago, I won't be able to give you a reliable answer! I forget crap all the time!! Emotional-basketcase!! Work has cause me some more 'cankles'. Feeling more tired.

Wedding rings on or off: Getting really tight, I'm gonna have to get a temporary replacement.

Happy or Moody most of the time: LABILE! Happy, Sad, Moody, Happy, Tired

Looking forward to: Picking a name...I think we may have a first name, but definitely no middle names...Mike is still waiting for 'The One' to pop into his head....I'm afraid, she'll never be named if we have to wait on him to find 'The One'! And Mike made the comment, he thinks it'd be fitting for us to name her on the way to the hospital!  I really really don't want that to happen! Going to Derek and Kacy's wedding this weekend, my shower next weekend

30 Weeks...and some...

Please excuse the hair and the tired look!  I am tired and my hair is braided and just looks like crap!

How far along: 30 Weeks and some days!!!!
We have a Head of Lettuce, about 18 inches and 3.2 pounds.

What I've Learned from What to Expect: Her brain is developing faster and faster. She is making faces, hiccupping, swallowing, breathing, and sucking her thumb
Total weight gain/loss: 7.5 Pounds

Stretch marks: No new ones
Sleep: Is Good!  There are nights I get up for a potty break once and then there are times, I get up like 5 times. It is A LOT harder to get out of bed...not becuase I'm tired, but because it is harder to move. I have to ask Mike, when he's awake, to push me!  Even on the 5-6 potty break nights, my sleep is really good. My mom got me the pregnancy wedge, which I think has been pretty helpful. I was just using pillows. I also like it because if I roll over, it supports my back too. So yay for sleep! I do need to get more of it though!

Best moments this week: Oh dear, So many!....Man it feels like forever since I've updated!...
She's HEAD DOWN!! Woo Hoo!! Hearing and seeing her at the doc. Heart Rate has been in the lower 140's and, today upper 130's, which doc says is good! Getting to meet with the dietiation and getting a good follow-up report from her and my doc. Feeling her move ALL. THE. TIME! I love just looking at my belly and seeing her move, wondering what's she's planning on doing or thinking.

Now some of you already know about this and I just think this was way too funny...but at work, I work with just loving little angels...and one of those little angels called me a "Toilet Assface Shit Mouth!" which really cracked me up, I love the creativity!
Miss Anything: Not being able to have excessive amounts of fruit, especially since the Watermelon has been so so so yummy!  I'm being restricted to limiting my carb intake.

Movement: Holy Moly Yes! She is all over the place, high, low, right, left, middle. My favorite thing!!

From Last Week: Yesterday, she really liked the watermelon I had and I had a long slow wave across my entire belly...I figured it was here, mom mentioned it could be another contraction...I'll ask my doctor on Thursday.

After talking to my doc, she said that was probably her making her way head down! So cool!
Food cravings: Fruits...

Anything making you queasy or sick: Nothing comes to mind...

Labor Signs: More Braxton-Hicks contractions...

Belly Button in or out: Innie, but stretching like crazy....
Most Ridiculous thing I've Cried about or gotten Upset about: Lots! But I can't remember all of them. Mike is so good to comfort me when he realizes I'm just stressed! I think my favorite, that I can remember, Monday-it was a super long day, work was busy, another colleague was off, so I had to cover. I didn't get all my work done that day, or the next, or the next...don't worry, I did get all caught up and THANK GOD for the Weekend!...then we took the Grandparents out for Mother's Day. Fabulous dinner at Wolfgang Pucks! Then as I was headed home, I remembered I needed to stop and get painters tape for group the next day. So I went to Wal-Mart, which I spent way too much time in and ended up getting my swim suit and two dresses along with my painters tape!  So I finally get home super late and I am exhausted, and Mike asks me if I've forgotten anything. And of course I have no freakin clue, because I basically feel like I'm just running around with my head cut off and no direction! So, I say, I don't think so, now thinking maybe he'd ask me to pick something up. He said 'your phone'. I said it was in my purse. He was like, Oh good you picked it from customer service then....I about died then!  Because, no I hadn't picked it up from Customer Service, figured I had it the whole time, so I immediatly started boo-hooing.
Mike tried to make it better by telling me a funny story...remember that sweet little angel that called me that ever so sweet name?  Well, Wal-Mart Customer Service called my parents number when they found it...my mom, being her silly self answered, 'is this Toilet Shit Mouth?' and I guess there was silence for a bit. HAHA!
So that made me cry more and laugh so much. Mike thankfully and lovingly went to pick it up for me.

Pregnancy Symptom: TONS of Back Pain, to the point I want to cry at times, got another great back rub from Mikey! My nails are growing like crazy!! Legs are cramping. Wanting to nest and love it!! Peeing all the time! Difficulty breathing sometimes. Pregnancy Brain--its fo' real!!! I thought I had it bad, and I just keeps getting worse and worse. I really am afraid I'm going to screw something up at work because of it. Please pray that I don't screw anything up at work. I forget crap all the time!! Emotional. Work has cause me some more 'cankles'. And I don't really see that going away soon, because we are so busy and covering has been a mess! Feeling more tired.

Wedding rings on or off: On. Tight at times.
Happy or Moody most of the time: LABILE! Happy, Sad, Moody, Happy, Tired

Looking forward to: Our Baby Moon!!!  So excited, we are leaving tomorrow. Hopefully I will get pics up and more about that when we get back...it's like our Baby Moon/5 Year Anniversary. Picking out a name!! Her moving. Getting to go to the Doc every week now because of the Gestational Diabetes (GB). Next week doc said she'd check on growth!

Okay, well I think that's it for now, trying to get ready to leave!  Will do my GB update soon too...but it's good!

29 Weeks!

Please excuse the dirty mirror spots!

How far along: 29 Weeks!!
We have a Butternut Squash, about 17 inches and 3.1 pounds.
What I've Learned from What to Expect: Her brain is forming the little grooves in it now, which increases the amount of brain tissue, Bone Marrow has taken over Red Blood Cell production

Total weight gain/loss: 7 pounds

Stretch marks: No new ones,

Sleep: Doing good, I'm getting to sleep longer and deeper it seems. So thankful for that too!  I even came home Saturday from gymnastics and soccer and took a nap!!  I think that may be the second time, I've done that. It felt amazing.  It's also nice because I will wake up and then fall asleep and I feel I've been asleep forever. So Yay for now!

Best moments this week: Feeling her get stonger and stonger with her movements. Napping. Mike being able to see her move from across the room in my belly! Going to the Bedlam baseball game and Little Bit doing the Fight Song after the Cowboys won!

Miss Anything: This past week, I've really missed a great glass or two of wine for destressing, sneezing again.

Movement: Holy Moly Yes! She is all over the place, high, low, right, left, middle. Yesterday, she really liked the watermelon I had and I had a long slow wave across my entire belly...I figured it was here, mom mentioned it could be another contraction...I'll ask my doctor on Thursday.

Food cravings: Sweets, Fruits...

Anything making you queasy or sick: Nothing comes to mind...

Labor Signs: A few more Braxton-Hicks contractions...

Belly Button in or out: Innie, but stretching like crazy...This is random...did anyone's belly button ever get tender like if you bumped into something...Mine is...another question for Doc.

Most Ridiculous thing I've Cried about or gotten Upset about: Mike, I felt, made a rude comment to me, which he was trying to be funny and just playing around...I wasn't wanting to play around and he kept going, so I'm pretty sure I yelled at him, cried, and didn't talk to him for a while.

Update on the Gestational Diabetes...
I was so irritated with all this late last week.  I had been waiting for the Diabetes Educator to call me to set up an appointment, well they hadn't by Thursday, so I called my doctors office seeing what the deal was..."Oh, the person that makes the referrals had been off for two days, she just faxed over your orders." Really?! "they will give you a call today or tomorrow" LIARS!  I knew they would call on Thursday so I waited til Friday.

Just like most everyone else on Friday people want to leave work early, so I still hadn't heard anything, so I called my Doc's office around 2pm...guess what...they all go home at noon on Fridays!! So I was transferred to the answering service, and I'm sure I sound pretty darn rude, but I couldn't believe that I couldn't get any information. I ask the answering service, "well do you know where they would refer me for gestational diabetes?" She did give the diabetes number for Hillcrest.

So I called them, and talked to sweet Melba...I told her this was really random, told her my story and then asked if there was any way I had been referred to them by my doctor. She sounded concerned, and told me she'd already been through her calls for the day. I was on hold for a bit and she came back on and told me yes I had been referred, but I wasn't in the system yet, but she could go ahead and pencil me in for a class if I'd like...YES MA'AM!!  Sweet Melba made my day and made me fell so much better and just gave me a little peace of mind. So, I go tomorrow, for my Diabetes class. I hope to get more understanding, answers, and to find out, how bad/not bad I have this.

I have tried to make healthier choices in eating, but I'm not real good at it...I also went walking today, which, exercise is suppose to be good too. So, hopefully this will be an easy bump in my pregnancy road.
Pregnancy Symptom:  TONS of Back Pain, to the point I want to cry at times, Mike gave me a fabulous back rub last night that felt so amazing...but as soon as he stopped, I could feel the aches again :( My nails are growing like crazy!! Legs are cramping. Wanting to nest and love it!! Peeing all the time! Difficulty breathing sometimes. Pregnancy Brain. I forget crap all the time!! Emotional. I had some mean 'cankles' late last week into the weekend. But with my great nap and resting, putting my feet up, I have my normal ankles back again...for now. Feeling more tired.

Wedding rings on or off: On.

Happy or Moody most of the time: LABILE! Happy, Sad, Moody, Happy, Tired

Looking forward to: Picking out a name!! Her moving, going to the Doc Thursday, Diabetes Education,

And this is Gina, my Pi Phi Little, at her baby shower, we are 6 days apart!  I am so excited to share this time with her. I just love this picture!

28 Weeks!!

How far along: 28 Weeks!!  Less than 12 weeks to go!  Wow!

We have a small cabbage, about 17 inches and 2.9 pounds...I can't believe how long she (could possibly be) is! I can't imagine how she may feel, I didn't think I had 17 inches in my short little area!

What I've Learned from What to Expect: She's obviously moving around now, her permanent teeth buds have formed, and she should be smoothing out by now...no more wrinkles.
Total weight gain/loss: Still 6 pounds this week.

Stretch marks: No new ones, but I feel my skin stretching!  and it's itchier than before, so I've been trying to keep Belly Lotion with me all the time.
Sleep: Doing good, I'm getting to sleep longer and deeper it seems. So thankful for that too!  There is usually at least one to two nights though, that I have either eaten too much or too late and can't get comfortable for a long time.

Best moments this week: Seeing and feeling her move in by belly from the outside, I love it!! and Mike getting to feel her more and more. Mike tried to listen for her heart beat through my belly, he thinks he may have heard it at first, but then wasn't sure.  I've been meaning to get one of the stethoscope things. Seeing Mike more and more excited about Little Bit. He's gonna be such a great and fun daddy!

I'm sure there are more, but Preggo Brain is getting worse and worse!

Miss Anything: Well, this  is a whole new thing...I feel like I am going to miss a lot...more to come...

Movement: Holy Moly Yes! She is all over the place, high, low, right, left, middle. We can also see her move... usually about 20-30 minutes after I eat, she is a dancing machine!

Food cravings: Sweets
Anything making you queasy or sick: Nothing comes to mind...
Labor Signs: A few more Braxton-Hicks contractions...I had Mike feel one the other night, and he thought it was really weird feeling...couldn't believe how hard it was.
Belly Button in or out: Innie, but stretching like crazy...

Most Ridiculous thing I've Cried about or gotten Upset about: I think I've been good with the random crying spurts this week...nothing comes to mind...for ridiculousnous anyway :)

Okay so remember this from last week....
Oh and this isn't ridiculous, but I cried about failing my Glucose Test yesterday. Now I have to go back for the three hour test on Friday. I'm really hoping I failed because 1.) I had no clue I would be doing it at my appointment, 2.) So I had 2 oranges and chocolate milk right before my appointment, and 3.) I didn't have a great dinner the night before consisting of artichoke dip, pineapple, cantaloupe, carrots, and left over yummilicious shower cake. So I will be racking up on the protein the next couple of days and hopefully everything will turn out just fine. Either way, it will be fine, but I will feel more fine if I pass the test.
They are gonna be really mean to me because for this test, I have to fast (besides water) after midnight and then I go drink that awful drink in the morning and then they will test every hour for three hours afterwards and I will won't be able to eat anything!! They are starving pregnant women!! I really hope I don't pass out or puke, when I drank it on Tuesday, I got all jittery, felt like I was on speed or something.

Well, with Great Things, there are also Not-So-Great-Things too. I went to take my 3-hour fasting glucose test on Friday. It was nice because I got to take the whole day off, but it didn't really feel like a day off. Mom made me a steak the night before--thanks for that it was awesome! and I started fasting at midnight. I could still have water, thank you Jesus! At the doc by 8 and the tested my initial blood sugar level. Then I had that awful drink!  This time it was Fruit Punch, which if I had to choose between that and the Orange one, I liked the Fruit Punch one better. Then the boring set it. They make you sit there for 3 hours and each hour they draw more blood to test. It was so boring!  I did get some thank you cards done, read several magazines, tried to move around a lot, mom went to 'feed the birds' a few times and finally I was finished, starving, and starting to feel really really weird.

Moving forward a couple of days, I thought I would get the results on Monday, but didn't...I'm thinking good news, Tuesday came around and I called the office to see and they said they'd be getting back with me that day. So sweet DeeDee calls me and I'm really excited, b/c I'm thinking all good...well, I've failed again!!!

I.  Was.  Devastated.
They said a diabetes educator would call me to discuss it all and she gave me my numbers...
73/205/170/148 and they want you under 95/180/155/140...so I failed all but one...to me the numbers don't mean much right now, they 'look' not awful...but I feel I just kept trying to sugar coat everything.

So here I am with Gestational Diabetes. Since I was at work when I found out, I couldn't really process it all out, I had groups, notes, assessments, paperwork, shit to get done. On my way home I talked to Julie, cried then, talked to Mike, cried then and when I got home, talked to my dad and cried then. Mike then got home and I cried some more. Lots of tears that day.  A lot of it was because I had no clue what to do now, I know nothing about diabetes, don't know anyone that has ever had gestational diabetes-so I could just call them up and ask all the questions-, and then had the feeling I was hurting our little girl---Worst. Feeling. Ever. as a mommy!

So I tried to read up on stuff, heard from a few friends, and seemed to find out that there really wasn't anything I could do about it, but I can make some changes-eating differently--which is going to be a challenge, not because I crave certain foods or am hooked on bad ones, just figuring out what is the better choice--and exercise-and hopefully be able to manage it and be just fine and Little Bit will be just fine.

I'm still waiting to hear back from the Diabetes Educator--which was also ticking me off...if it's a big deal, why have they not called to make sure I'm not eating ice cream for breakfast, lunch, and dinner?! So I called the office again today, they said, the person that makes the referrals had be out for two days, so they immediately faxed over my orders and said they should call today or tomorrow...still haven't heard from them today...so praying for tomorrow. If not, I'll call again to get their number. I'm not even sure what to expect when they call. But good thing is, is now I've had a couple of days to figure out some questions to ask.

So there's my novel of Gestational Diabetes, hopefully next week, I will be able to share more about it and have a better understanding.

And, these are flowers from my loving husband, letting me know everything is going to be okay and to cheer me up. Completely made my day! and today too! I love coming home to flowers!

Pregnancy Symptom: Boobs are big, but I don't notice them any bigger, but I think my chest is getting bigger...sometimes I feel my bra is slicing me in half. TONS of Back Pain, to the point I want to cry at times. My nails are growing like crazy!! Legs are cramping. Wanting to nest and love it!! Peeing all the time! Difficulty breathing sometimes. Pregnancy Brain. I forget crap all the time!! Emotional. I notice my feet swelling occasionally, they do go back to normal after I take it easy. Feeling more tired.
Wedding rings on or off: On.
Happy or Moody most of the time: LABILE! Happy, Sad, Moody, Happy...mostly happy...I think :)
Looking forward to: Picking out a name!! We have two-three we like. Starting to see my doctor every two weeks now. Continuing to feel her move.

3rd Trimester- 27 Weeks!!

So Blogger has a new look, I'm behind with the times! I missed out last week, so here is this week!!
She's really sticking out there...this picture was taken yesterday morning before my doc appointment. My face looks 'fuller' to me and I have a double chin some days!

How far along: 27 Weeks and FINALLY in the 3rd Trimester!! Woo Hoo!!

We have a Head of Califlower this week...and now they are measuring head to toe and not head to rump, so she is about 16 inches!! I guess that is if she's normal and doesn't have her momma and daddy's height :) and 2.5 pounds!

The doctor says she's weighing in around 2.2 pounds according to the ultrasound, she was breech and in a folded pike position...getting ready for all those cheer jumps and stretches!!

What I've Learned from What to Expect: She is starting to Dream now!! Well, her brain wave activity shows different sleep cycles including REM, which is when dreaming occurs. She has started blinking, coughs, more sucking (which we have seen her do that in ultrasounds), and better breathing.
Also, they mention that babies born around this time have an excellant prognosis because the lungs have reached maturity now. But we still want her to stay put for now!

Total weight gain/loss: 6 pounds!

Stretch marks: No new ones.

Sleep: Better actually, it's still a little rough here and there, but the past few nights have been really good. Still have to get up for potty breaks, but overall, good this week!

Best moments this week: Mike getting to feel her move for real!!!!
Seeing and feeling her move in by belly from the outside!!!! It was crazy!
Having a Shower with Family and reminding me how blessed Mike and I are and how spoiled this sweet little girl is going to be.
Going to the Doc and seeing her on the Ultrasound and hearing that sweet little heart beat!
Some stranger walking in the hallway and said, "Oh, Kelly makes pregnacny look awesome" Completely made my day! She saw my badge as she was just walking in the hallway with her family member. So sweet and just what I needed to hear!
I'm sure there are more, but Preggo Brain is getting worse and worse!

Miss Anything: Wine. I did finally break down and had a Dr. Pepper - one of those teaser cans like 6 ounce ones, and it was fabulous!!! Little Bit then proceded to have a dance party. :)

Movement: Holy Moly Yes! She is all over the place, high, low, right, left, middle. We can also see her move...I'm seeing her make little jabs right now!

Food cravings: Ham Gravy...so I had me some last night! So so yummy!

Anything making you queasy or sick: Random smells that I don't really know what they are.

Labor Signs: Actually, YES!! I had no idea that it was, but when I told my doctor about it, she said that was probably a contraction!! I couldn't believe it! On Monday night, I don't even remember what I was doing, but all of a sudden, my belly got really hard in the center from top to about my belly button. It wasn't painful, but was uncomfortable. I just figured she was doing major moving around and flip-flopping. Dr said all is fine until I feel more than 6 of those...good thing I've only felt it once!

Belly Button in or out: Innie, but stretching like crazy...

Most Ridiculous thing I've Cried about or gotten Upset about: Mike's not here to put his two cents in, but I cried about a freaking swival on our new chair once we got it home. Long story, but we got the most awesome new recliner and had a swival base put on it. Not sure if we'll keep the base or not, but the chair is fabulous!
Umm, I've wanted to cry a whole lot more the past week...things I think are just really starting to come together and I am starting to freak out a tad.
Oh and this isn't rediculous, but I cried about failing my Glucose Test yesterday. Now I have to go back for the three hour test on Friday. I'm really hoping I failed because 1.) I had no clue I would be doing it at my appointment, 2.) So I had 2 oranges and chocolate milk right before my appointment, and 3.) I didn't have a great dinner the night before consisting of artichoke dip, pineapple, canalope, carrots, and left over yummilicious shower cake.

Pregnancy Symptom: Boobs are big, but I don't notice them any bigger.

Wedding rings on or off: On, but after the Heart Walk on Saturday, my fingers were very swollen and it was hard to take them off. I drove home with my hand up in the air and it eventually went back to normal.

Happy or Moody most of the time: LABILE! Happy, Sad, Moody, Happy...mostly happy, but at the drop of a hat, I can be one of those psycho bitches that Jenny McCarthy talks about or a crying basketcase!

Looking forward to: Picking out a name!! We have two-three we like. Starting to see my doctor every two weeks now. Continuing to feel her move

24 Weeks

How far along: 24 Weeks and a couple days!! 6 Months!! I was so excited to think I was in my third trimester, but I guess I have to finish out the week before I start the home stretch!
We have an Eggplant this week, about 9 inches and 1.7 pounds!
What I've Learned from What to Expect: My uterus is the size of a freaking soccer ball!!! Holy Smokes, I couldn't believe it when I read that! She's looking a little more pink because of the capillaries forming under her skin. LB's little nostrils are starting to open up allowing her to practice breathing...not real breaths yet, still the amniotic fluid. They also said that if Daddy puts his ear to the belly, that he may be able to hear her heart beat!

Total weight gain/loss:  1 pound

Maternity clothes: I love them, they are so comfortable! Any suggestions on a new question would be great here!

Stretch marks: No new ones.

Sleep: Has been rough!! Waking up at all hours of the night, sometimes for bathroom, sometimes I don't know the reason. I've been having 'Angry Dreams' lately doing a lot of yelling in my dreams with things and people I am frustrated with in real life. I really hope I don't blow up in real life with all my wonderful pregnancy hormones goin on! : /  I thought I read somewhere you were suppose to be having 'Good Dreams'! I need those!

Best moment this week: I'm starting to forget all the fun things that happen in the week...but I got a couple of decor items for her room and a glider! Get this, from Wally World for $150!! And it's comfortable!  It's a little small for Mike, but I think this is the first time I actually fit in a chair! Mike has found a rocker that he loves, so we will look into getting that for a nice chair for the living room.

I went to the doctor this week, Mike couldn't go because of work, but I got to see her modest little self again! She was covering her face, but waving her hands and wiggling her feet. I also got to hear her heart beat again. Love that sound.

Feeling her move!

Reading to her...and Remi and Nellie...it's so cute, I usually just go in there and start reading, and Remi makes her way in and lays down, and sometimes Nellie will come and sit by the door.

Miss Anything: Still a Dr. Pepper...weird! Wine :) and sleeping on my back!

Movement: YES!!! YIPPEE!!  It is fabulous! I feel her below my belly button and really on all side and in front. Little pokes here and there, sometimes more, sometimes less depending on what I've eaten. Monday, though, I started to freak myself out, because I hadn't felt her (it felt like all day). I knew earthing would be okay, but I had some first worry. Well that night as I was trying to sleep...I started feeling her like crazy. Silly little girl!

Food cravings: Nothing that I can really think of these past two weeks, but I'm sure there was something...

Anything making you queasy or sick: Nothing comes to mind

Labor Signs: Nope.

Belly Button in or out: Innie, but looking kinda flat from the inside...

Pregnancy Symptom: Boobs are huge, but Mike said they hadn't gotten bigger in the last week or so. Lots of Back Pain. My nails are growing like crazy!! Legs are cramping. Wanting to nest. Peeing all the time! Difficulty breathing sometimes. Pregnancy Brain has started to TAKE OVER!! It's awful, I am forgetting things all the time!! Emotional, not as bad as last week, but still spurts of random crying.

Wedding rings on or off: On

Happy or Moody most of the time: Mostly happy, then the hormones come on and so do the tears. Remember how I mentioned a while back, that with Baseball Season starting and Mike getting really busy at work...well I get pretty emotional that I am living the Married-single life.

Looking forward to: Going to Showers. Thinking of names---we have a short list, but nothing definite. Mike being able to feel her move. Seeing Grandma and Grandpa Evans this weekend!! Haven't seen them since Christmas!
